I feel for all the little one’s who celebrated their birthday’s during lockdown. My son had his 3rd birthday in May and I guess we were lucky that he was young enough not to realise that he was missing a party with his friends but he definitely missed seeing family on the day. For those having their first birthday’s it was a shame that Mummy and Daddy didn’t get to make the big fuss they wanted too but that doesn’t mean the Cake Smash has to be cancelled!
Little Matilda turned one at the end of June and her Mummy was adamant she wouldn’t miss out on her Cake Smash – an opportunity to make a big fuss of that first important birthday, even if a little late. Matilda’s Mummy picked one of my most asked for set-ups, vintage tea party, which is ideal for the ‘little lady’.
Matilda had a lovely time, playing tea parties and posing for some first birthday portraits. She then couldn’t believe her luck to be given an entire cake to eat and had a splashing good time soaking the studio in the tub.

I recommend booking Cake Smashes at least 4mths in advance to ensure both I and my baker are available for your chosen date. If you would like to find out more about my Cake Smash sessions please click here.
