Welcoming home Daddy

I really look forward to sessions with my regular clients as I get to see how their little ones are growing & changing, plus as I’ve worked for them before the sessions are usually more relaxed as they know the photos will be beautiful.

I recently welcomed back baby James for his baby photos – capturing the next milestone of his first year of being able to sit-up. I last saw James in January when he was 13 days old – you can seen his newborn photo here.

Now at 7mths old he is a beautiful, chubby, smiley baby boy. He wasn’t phased at all by my face mask and was very happy to pose for his baby portraits – with the help of Daddy making silly faces behind me. I think part of the reason he was so smiley was that Daddy is in the Navy and had only gotten home at 1am the previous night – so he was thrilled to have him there.

During the session we also captured some beautiful breastfeeding photos for Mummy, to celebrate her breastfeeding journey. Not to be left out Daddy also wanted to include his Navy hat in some shots which I think teamed up with James’ star fish and my enamel bath is super cute!

James’ Mummy is a bit of a super Mum – not only does she look after both James and his big brother Arthur (2.5yrs) but she also runs a successful business Arabella Jones, offering bespoke jewellery for military families to help them feel connected while apart.
