I simply love welcoming families back to meet their newest additions and I got to do just that recently when baby Laurie came for his newborn baby photos. I last met his family just over 3yrs ago when his big brother Marlon came to see me at almost 3mths old and what a cutie he was.
Well Laurie is following in his big brother’s footsteps on the cuteness factor even if he did spend a lot of the session sticking his tongue out at me. However unlike his brother, boy did he make me work for the photos – LOL!
Baby Laurie might have made his Mummy and Daddy wait a while to conceive him but boy was he then in a hurry to arrive! Not only did he decide to show up a couple of weeks early but his poor Mummy nearly didn’t make it to the hospital in time.

I am taking every hygiene precaution in the studio before, during and after sessions and I am now also taking a home lateral flow COVID test weekly to make sure that my photo sessions are as safe for you and your little one as possible. Of course it also means I can have some amazing baby cuddles while I’m working – something I have REALLY missed.
I just love photographing newborn babies and capturing all those precious details and memories, and I love to think of my clients looking back in years to come on those photos with their little ones.
My diary for newborn bookings does fill up quickly and I recommend booking in soon after your 20wk scan to ensure you have a space in my diary, ready to capture some gorgeous baby photos when your little one makes their big entrance.
