Well thankfully that lockdown only lasted the one month and, after checking with my local MP, I was thrilled to re-open my studio – just in time to celebrate James’ first birthday!
I have had the pleasure of photographing little James since he was just 12 days new – you can see his newborn photo here. It almost seems poetic that I should start and finish 2020 with this little man. Here’s hoping 2021 is a better year for all.
James’ parents chose a Star Wars inspired theme for their cake smash and I had great fun sourcing props especially for their session. Needless to say both my partner and son are now fighting over who gets to keep them. LOL!
James has to be the most enthusiastic bath baby I have ever had in the studio. I’m used to a bit of splashing but wow this was more like a tidal wave in the studio. Needless to say we all got a soaking!
