Safe in their hands – Rosie

This week I had the pleasure of welcoming back one of my previous newborn clients as they welcomed baby Rosie into the world.

I last saw this lovely family when their little boy Billy was born, so it was wonderful to meet him again (now aged 5yrs) and get to know the fabulous little guy he’s grown into. He is a very proud big brother and posed so beautifully for me – of course the promise of a trip to the toy shop had nothing to do with it! LOL!

It is always a joy when families ask me to do the ‘baby in hands’ poses as I love how simple but beautiful these baby portraits are. We did this photo for Billy’s newborn photoshoot and so I was thrilled to recreate it for Rosie, with the additional help of Billy. For me this image really shows how the whole family will support Rosie through her life, and is just so precious.
