Milk bath

Looking for a unique way to capture your little one in their first year?  Why not think about milk baths for your baby’s portrait session.

Milk bath portraits are a perfect way of capturing your little one’s purity and innocence. The use of the white milk allows us to take baby photos from overhead without fear of exposing anything we shouldn’t, and most babies just love a bath. These sessions are tailored to your choice of backdrop, flower colour scheme or why not opt for fresh fruit or seashells?

Babies love baths and milk baths provide a wonderful way of capturing them, while creating gorgeous images for you to put on your wall or give to family as gifts.  We start by using my beautiful vintage bath tub in the studio where we can let them play with the decorations and have fun, while we capture some gorgeous baby photos.

After that it’s into the bathroom to jump into the big tub for more splashy fun and if they’re happy to lie down some lovely chilled out baby photos too. During the whole session you will be nearby to ensure baby’s safety and so that they are reassured during the session.

Baby lactose intolerant/dairy free?  No problem we can use a substitute for the milk so they needn’t miss out on the fun! I will discuss with you in advance which milk substitute is best for your baby and in fact one of the images above is using a milk substitute but you probably can’t guess which one.

The session fee for a milk bath portrait session is £65 which covers my time and the cost of the milk/milk substitute and fresh decorations which are bought specifically for your session. Digital images start at £295 for 10 images and you can see my full pricing on the link in the menu.
