I love seeing babies come back into the studio for their milestone sessions and today was one of those days when I got to welcome the gorgeous Jacob into the studio to celebrate his upcoming first birthday.
I first met Jacob last May when he was just a tiny baby and had the privilege of capturing his newborn portraits. I then saw him again at Christmas when he wasn’t quite sitting up completely by himself for his first Christmas Mini session. Then today he comes in as a bouncing (almost) one year old full of smiles and giggles.
I love theming my cake smash sessions and Jacob’s Mummy had asked for a jungle theme. It was a pleasure to put together a unique set design for Jacob, perfectly finished off by a stunning cake by the Sugar Mum Fairy.
Jacob was a little unsure to start with about having a huge cake all to himself but within 5mins had face planted the cake, realised it tasted amazing and then thoroughly enjoyed himself!

I recommend booking your cake smash at least 3mths in advance to make sure that both myself and my preferred baker are available to create treasured memories of your little one’s first birthday.
