I absolutely adore sitter sessions, done when baby is around 6-9mths and can sit-up on their own. By then baby is developing their own little personality and has mastered that winning smile.
Little Alex recently came to see me to have his baby photos taken, just the same as his big sister had done a couple of years ago. He was a very cheeky boy – smiling every time he looked the other way. He also did not really want to sit down as has discovered that standing up is far more fun, even if he hasn’t really mastered it quite yet.
Luckily I have in my prop cupboard an array of different props where baby can stand up, holding on, including this gorgeous vintage baby walker. As you can see once he was stood up Alex was very pleased with himself!
