Well I don’t know about you but I have found this last lockdown the hardest one yet. I think the combination of Christmas being stolen away from us, my birthday in lockdown (including my trip to the Harry Potter Studios being cancelled) and the cold weather just really got to me.
I have kept myself busy with digital portraits and completely redoing my website but my goodness have I missed being in the studio and meeting all the wonderful little people. My creativity has definitely needed to get back in the studio and I am thrilled to be back working again, and what better way to celebrate that than with a Cake Smash.
I last saw Ari in the summer when he was 3mths and came for his New Baby session. He did an amazing session then and certainly didn’t disappoint this time. Once he had settled in he was very happy to explore the studio and loved me playing peek-a-boo from behind my camera.

I always start my Cake Smash sessions with a few relaxed portraits of little one and was very excited to use my new vintage wooden baby chair. Well Ari was very pleased to entertain me and was happy to sit in the chair and flash his gorgeous smile at me.
After his baby portraits we moved on to his Cake Smash which was superhero themed – more sneak peeks of that to follow soon.
